About MeI was born a Yankee but raised a Southerner. From the time I was in first grade, I knew that when I grew up I wanted to be a teacher. That could have something to do with the fact that I come from a line of educators. My grandmother taught for 40 years in the state of North Carolina, my mother taught for 30, my father was a professor for a time, and I am all grown up and loving teaching. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to teach at Holly Ridge Middle School!
I currently reside in Fuquay-Varina with my husband and two daughters. During my “free time,” I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing at any beach, reading a good book, dancing my heart out, and sharpening my culinary skills. |
